Waiting...

As if to further illustrate my mood this evening, a bus pulled up at the bus stop across the street just as I arrived home and got out of my car. It immediately felt like a metaphor for one of my biggest challenges.

I've never been good at waiting. When I was wee, I guess my mum would have called me impatient. Now, I prefer to say I have a 'carpe diem' kind of attitude and like to seize the day. I suspect most of my poor decisions have been made in haste.

I often find solace in the words of his holiness, the Dalai Llama. 'When in doubt, do nothing' is what he would tell me.
