Patches of Blue

A better day today, some patchy blue skies and even a glimpse of sunshine breaking through at points. It's still fairly windy but more like an average day and some rain showers too. I've even seen some stars this evening when out with Sammy :)

I went to Tesco after work and the shelves are bare! The panic shoppers have been out in force as the ferry hasn't been running this past few days and they seem to forget that we do have local bakeries and a dairy. I should have taken a photo of the bare shelves for my Blip today :) The ferries are back running again tonight and so glad I'm not going to or from Shetland as the seas are still fairly rough!

With the blue skies this morning, I ran out of work to snap a photo. It cheered me up to see the blue skies as it's been so dull and grey for days now! If you spy the seagull in the centre, you can also spot an aeroplane passing just above the bird, or the white trail :) Taken at Hay's Dock, Lerwick.
