I love indian food but unless you like gloop, it's often very difficult to find good food in restaurants. There's a good exception in Brighton called Chilli Pickle but apart from the odd trip there we now mostly make our own. Rick Stein's new cookbook has some great recipes. This is a chicken biryani. The photo doesn't do it justice but it was delicious. The berries on top (that look a bit like burnt bits in this photo!) are barberries - like dried sour cherries. Fantastic.
