Blue Monday ...

the most depressing day of the year, well for me it was anything but :-)

I am a life long Manchester City fan & have not seen City play at home since a visit to Maine Road in the mid 1970's. I did see Shrewsbury Town knock City out of the FA Cup in 1979 & City draw at Aston Villa in the mid 199o's.

I also saw Sven Goran-Ericsson bring City to the Greenhous Meadow in August 2007.

Tomorrow is my Dad's 82nd birthday & we have today purchased tickets to watch City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday vs Watford in the FA Cup.

To say we are excited is a major under statement :-)
