Underneath the arches

The sun came out for a bit today so we headed to Menai Bridge to walk along the Belgium Promenade and under the bridge, Mr Toad kindly posed to give a sense of the height of the huge arches.
The straits were very high and the water was rushing and swirling around the piers.
Popped into Waitrose on the way if you spend more than £5 you get a free newspaper but we managed to spend way more than that and came out with a very tasty lemon cheescake among other non essential things, so I don't think we saved anything.
