The Cemetery

We went to visit the grave today, the first anniversary of my mother's death. I thought that I would be really sad but it was a peaceful visit.
We scattered rose petals on the ground and just because she would think it funny we sang Happy Anniversary! We packed camping stools and took a colourful umbrella and just sat and listened ….and it was peaceful.
