A treeful of wagtails - nowhere near Chiswick.

We pulled off the M1 into Trowell Services this evening and saw a Pied Wagtail. Now I like a wagtail so I said "how nice". Then I saw another … and another …

This tree was laden full of wagtails making a big fuss and jostling for position. The tree looks like it had sprouted leaves. I have never seen so many Pied Wagtails. There were hundreds, possibly more around the other trees in the car park. It made for challenging photography - so apologies for the quality - no tripod, moving subjects and street-lighting.
