Circular needles

Took mother out for lunch then fell asleep in front of the TV .... yep, that was my Sunday .... I really know how to rock weekends!

I started some really thick socks for daughter's boyfriend this evening. He works outdoors. I'm doing this pair on the circular needles. I've never used them before, sock shock horror! Would you believe it? So far I'm finding it better than fiddling with a half dozen double pointed eels!
