View From The Hill

Hayley and I decided to go into Edinburgh today to go in search of a blip. We walked up Calton Hill as Hayley had never been up there before so she was really impressed with the views.

I took loads of pictures so it was really hard to decide which one to use. After much deliberation, I have chosen this one which gives a nice shot of the monument and a nice view of the city.

We went for a coffee when we got back down and Hayley paid for it .........I am impressed.

When we got home, we put the dinner on which was chicken with mashed potatoes, sprouts and roasted veggies (parsnips, carrots and onions in extra virgin olive oil) yummy.

I am now watching the American football, it's the final play off games to see who plays in the Super Bowl. Denver Broncos have just made it, they beat New England and just about to watch the Seattle Seahawks host the San Francisco 49ers which is due to finish at 2.30 am.

Don't worry, I'm off tomorrow so will be able to enjoy the game from start to finish.
