Whooper Swans

We went to Welney Wetland Centre in Norfolk today and what a spectacle of whooper swans. It was fabulous - despite the fact that the centre lived up to its wetland name as all the walks were out of bounds beacause of floods!
We were mesmorized by the swans and numerous pochard in the setting sun. The much smaller Bewick swans were on another part of the wetland as the Whooper swans are too aggressive for them! The sunset and colours were fabulous and you can see 3 other photos here
