"Christmas" in the castle

At uni we used to head off for a weekend before Christmas as a group and rent out some cottage in the highlands of scotland somewhere. Over the five years our choice of location and our affordability continued to improve (the first holiday seemed magical at the time, but looking back was really just 3 rooms with a whole load of bunk beds in every available space). So now that we're working we managed to find a weekend when 10 out of 13 people were free, and decided to rent out a castle.

It was a brilliant weekend. The lads car arrived first on Friday night, so naturally we put on the house coats they had left for us, poured some wine, and posed with the portraits and giant chess board...
