Day 19: A walk in the woods

I followed a cue for today's blip from a facebook posting that said "It's impossible to walk in the woods and be in a bad mood at the same time." I do love walking in the woods, in the winter. (Too many bugs in the summer.) I love the nakedness of the trees, like they're taking a breather from their leaves, and I love the way the sun casts its light and shadows through the trees.

Today the sun had a surreal shine as it was setting behind the trees. I don't know how well I captured it, but it was like it had a "come towards the light" pull to it. Kind of glorious in its effect.
