The Great Escape

We were in Glasgow today and enjoyed lunch with the 'kids'. After, I managed a whistle stop tour along the Clyde thinking a picturesque view of some of the bridges might make my Blip of the day. Tempting as that was I've chosen this from the sidestreets leading down to the riverside.

I couldn't pass 'Geek Retreat' without venturing in. Unfortunately you can't see in from the street so I had to go down these stairs. Once downstairs it was obvious that the place was well named' as it truly was a retreat for geeks with various geekish pursuits being pursued by the regulars.

If it had been a normal shop I might have managed to merge into the background and browse for a while but it wasn't, so I didn't. A hasty retreat (no pun intended) up the stairs and a quick photo on the way as a momento of this fine place.

No geeks were embarrassed in the making of this photo.
