A Perfect End to a Lovely Day

So, we get up this morning in our usual way and after a bit I say to my wife I'm going out for bike ride. She replies with 'Where're you going? we can meet you there' and then says 'is Brighton too far?'. For anyone who isn't married out there, this meant I was riding to Brighton (approx. 47 miles away).

So I set off and decided to take the scenic route through the little villages instead of the main roads. It took longer and was a harder, but Wow! there are places I'd never even heard of and they were absolutely gorgeous. I didn't have my camera at that point though, so you'll just have to take my word for it.

Anyway, I finally get to Brighton and was met by my wife and son. This was the sunset as I got there...and at which point I was reunited with my camera. Home now, bathed, fed and have my feet up.
