Not Only But Also...

.... not only do we have the top of the bill but we also have the middle, sides and corners of the bill. A full house if you will... BINGO!!!

On a more serious note... I stumbled across the RNLI Photographic Exhibition in the centre of Edinburgh today... STUNNING. Not only are the photographs fantastic the one thing that struck me - purely from a gear-geek point of view - was the fact that these prints were huge and for the most part shot on Nikon D3s, D700 and D2Xs all of which are just 12mp cameras, there were also a couple of shots taken on a D200, a 10mp camera. The rest were shot on D4 and D3x cameras. It just goes to show that you don't need to chase those pixels to produce a technically superb shot, you just need to know your camera.

That said, the pictures are spectacular and at the end of the day it's the picture that counts and not the gear that was used to create the shot.

The exhibition is at Castle Street, off Princes Street, Edinburgh until January 24th 2014.
