The farm in the valley

The sun was playing hide and seek with us today up on Penistone Hill, but it did shine on this lovely sheep farm in the valley long enough for me to get this picture. It also shone on Lower Laithe Reservoir, minus the 2014 Yorkshire Festival poster which seems to have thankfully disappeared. I had been expecting that to stay in situ until it became dull and tatty, and totally spoil the beautiful view.
