The old fort
To get some movement and fresh air I decided to cycle through the polder land where I know no-one goes but a few dog walkers. Intending to take photos of the beauty of the flat grey countryside in the rain. The colours become amazing in that light. My eyes took so many pictures but it rained too hard to risk the camera. And it became apparent that the architecture of the North does not see a need to provide overhangs. So nowhere to shelter but a new café in the old fort, with terrible dutch schlager music, but where a wonderful red cat stood by the gates and welcomed me in and later saw me out again.
