Rounding Out The Year!

It would not be right to let the Christmas Season end without having at least tasted a Christmas pudding!

It was a very different time for me this year where many things did not happen that were part of our family traditions....understandably so.....Today I made it happen with the help of a gift from a friend in GK's office........an individual Fox's Christmas pud!!

It was yum! All that was missing was the sprig of holly!!

That was tonights highlight.....the rest of my day was very productive as Albert and I worked our way through the timetable with him relishing his excellent mark in his maths exam. (Here's hoping the rest of his results are great too!) Ended the school day with a game of football in PE...so some of his pent up energy was released! Tuesday is the beach run and he can't wait....he's really quite fearless!

Dark clouds through the day and rain last night...more forecast for tonight....its cooolldd!!! Its 5c in Riyadh and only 17c here!! Thats cool! Hot chocolate and bed methinks!!!

The Orthodox Epiphany has the tradition in Russia of taking an icy dip!!! They've just shown one of the reporters doing the honours for the BBC in Sochi...home of the winter Olympics this year!! Rather him than me....though he did wear some very fetching floral swimming trunks!!!
