Bird hide

Spent today at Rutland Water with my friend Martin. He's very inspirational.

But... and it's a big but, he's also one of the UK's leading authorities on bird identification - consultant on Autumn/ Spring Watch. Someone recently paid £120 to spend the day with him birdwatching.

How priveldged am I? - he calls me to spend the day with me!!!

Great guy. Sat in the bird hide encouraging each other. We saw a rare bird - can't remember its name. He's wasted on me. I know that. Bird things over there....
