Tweeddale Arms

Yesterday's sunny forecast for today, which had prompted the indoor day, didn't quite work out, so a walk around Gifford was had in the on-and-off rain. It was a bit muddy and agricultural, but we enjoyed it, with dozens of bird of prey and more to look at (they all looks the same to me from far away - buzzards?).

Delicious lentil and bacon soup beside the fire at the Tweeddale Arms was about right.

Roast chicken seems about right.
