Tall Ship

Still in Glasgow.

Great breakfast at Cafe Gandolfi.

Bus to the river and the Riverside Transport and Travel Museum. A splendid modern building, by the River Clyde, full of cars, bikes, buses and of course ships. Brilliant place.

Across into the Tall Ship that is moored alongside the museum. I was surprised how interesting I found this restored sailing ship. This picture shows the Tall Ship reflected in the extraordinary museum building. Look large to see the people on board.

Walked across to the Kelvingrove Gallery, following the River Kelvin. Visited the Jack Vettriano exhibition. Interesting.

Then a bus back to the centre of the city.

BNC was excellent last night. A real live performance.
Tonight it’s Celtic Fiddle Festival.

This time last year we were halfway to New Zealand.
