It's a mug's game

We went for a lovely walk today, joined by some young friends who had driven up for the weekend from south of the M25. The sky was bright blue and the birds were singing and the fields were a beautiful shade of emerald green in the sunlight.
However, I thought I'd stick to my first photo of the day for my Blip.
After all, it's not every day that it's your husband's 70th birthday. And the morning after the night before.
We were however, totally hangover-free and ready for our hike.
