Rowan tree

This tree is growing in very conventional style from a crack in the rock - there is another tree growing at the other end of the outcrop, which stretches across the Arduaine peninsula. Until a couple of years ago the view of this tree from the kitchen window was blocked by a group of Sitka spruce, which has since been taken down.
