Look What's on the Menu....... Cover

Our New York City family, after 13 hours, should be about an hour out of LA as I type.

Then follows the final 5 hour leg to NYC and the hour's drive from JFK airport to their apartment in Washington Heights on Manhattan Island.

A not insignificant journey for a two and a half year old!

So another early rise this morning to be at Tullamarine airport for the departure of....... Anthony, Laura and Max... Seen here with Max's Aussie Great Grandparents

This is their second visit to Oz and we grandparents, were in New York for Max's first birthday in May 2012. All intimate and memorable encounters.

Max not only has 4 grandparents but also 5 great grandparents.

Two great grandmothers on his maternal side in New Jersey, USA.....
and one great grandfather and two great grandmothers on his paternal side in Victoria, Australia.

It has been a magic Xmas and New Year having their company and further cementing our relationship with our little grandson.

Over a light lunch before departing the "big city" for home we were fascinated by the A4 size menu covers. This was the most striking and mysterious...
