Lonesome pine

It's a beautiful sunny day here in leafy Warwickshire so we went out for a walk. I couldn't find a humorous picture for today( well I can but it'll keep) . This Scots Pine was catching the sun rather attractively .
I contend it is nearly spring M'lud because of the following evidence.
Snowdrops
Daisies
Dandelions
Sticky buds
Our first sighting of an open topped car
People drinking coffee at an outside table even though they weren't smoking. (This is the clincher I feel)
