Well that was another uneventful shift to Leeds and back today with nothing out of the ordinary apart from having Sandra as my trolly dolly to Newcastle and I made sure I didn't toss her around lol apart from my running brake test leaving Edinburgh I only used the brake once by the time we had passed over the border into England using the gradients and curves to help slow the train to it's new linespeed which I was well happy with as I try my best to stop using the brake as much as possible so it was good to be on the ball today sometimes especially between Berwick and Newcastle with 28 level crossings they sometimes get the barriers down a little later than normal and it means you pass a single yellow signal at high speed and you might not be in a position to see the next signal change to green or it could stay at red so you really have to throw the brakes into high just incase the signal ahead hasn't cleared but it all went well so there we go now then I thought I would give you this view down at one part of the depot as I brought my 5 car 221 Voyager to the fuel point and immobilised it and walked over the crosswalk to get the taxi back to the station but as you can see it is mostly East Coast class 225's along with a couple of our HST's sandwiched between them all our Voyagers are stabled further down the depot line at Portobello sidings so it was eerily quiet with not much noise from the sets and then it was back home after that for a well earned sleep now then movie for the day is "The Roost 2005" See Ya
