The Goethe Institute

The Bangkok Goethe Institute is a lovely colonial building in the midst of the city. It is not far from Sathorn and Lumphini Park. It is a quiet and heavenly place with a lovely tropical garden and a touch of Thailand. Besides its usual cultural activities, it has a Thai food court, a German restaurant and a nice café by the swimming-pool.
I enjoy going there for a change as it allows me to practice a bit of German.
