Grandad's little helper

We were looking after the grandchildren today. Lola and her grandad had some fun this afternoon setting up a new bird feeding station on the back garden. They were lucky to find a dry period just after lunch before the rain came pouring down. Said feeding station was one of this week's specials from that German supermarket that's dear to hubby's heart and that featured in an earlier blip this week. The packaging came with some great pictures of common garden birds, so a lesson in identifying these followed the construction work. I just love how small children absorb so much information so quickly! Lessons continue tomorrow!
