The Supervisor
Ever since we have moved in here we have been questioning the rose beds in front of the house. Whilst they look nice in flower for the rest of the year it is a pair of pretty boring beds that need constant weeding and feeding (piles of poo). So we decided to move the roses to the side of the drive. But we cant do this because of the daffodils just coming up so as a temporary arrangement D2 Kelly and myself started digging out a new bed by the fence at the other side of the house. Lots of turf moving, wheelbarrow lines on the grass bit of a mud bath.
Bed dug and we move on to wrestle with the roses. They have probably been in place for more than 10 years. They were well at home and did not want to move. Well we got half of them out and replanted. Quite a few roots broken and soil not the best but they might survive. Other half to be moved tomorrow, weather permitting.
The robin? Well he watched our every move and chirruped his instructions all the time. I was pleased he was there because I stopped to take pictures whilst the others worked. Blip has its advantages
