This afternoon, I visited Burntisland where I found this rotting carcass. I thought the framework looked like ribs.
Actually, I think the original owner constructed a framework to stretch a tarpaulin over in order to protect his possession until it could maybe get sold on.

Unfortunately, all dreams come to an end. The boat was not sold. The tarpaulin has long since rotted and blown away. The boat is now following suit.


I think I'll return to this location soon for soon more macabre shots.
