Bargain Hunt

G and I went to watch an auction in Glasgow today. The beeb were filming certain lots for a programme, Bargain Hunt. A lot, not part of the show, described as "a white stone bracelet or bangle, expected to sell £40 - £60, sold for over £3000. Two bidders, one in the room and one by telephone, serious money for an item that looked like a shower curtain ring.
