Gudmanns Minde and dust...anybody? No? Dust.

I woke up just after 7:00 this morning and after a lazy breakfast, some internet browsing and sewing a bed cover for the guest bedroom, I decided to go and visit "The old hospital - Gudmanns Minde" which is one of the oldest buildings here in Akureyri. Today it was open for public at 14:00 and two historians told us the story of the house and some of the history of nursing in Iceland.

After a few pancakes and coffee in the afternoon (lots of calories there!), I started working on the parquet floor, sanding and vacuuming until I was grey with dust!
