Old College Quad, Edinburgh University

Went to see an exhibition at the Talbot Rice Gallery today about 200 years of the Royal Edinburgh Hospital - 200 years in 200 objects. Some quite disturbing.

On the way out it was raining, but Old College Quad was looking good. I learned that it is to be the site of the celebrations for Chinese New Year later this month when an installation of lanterns depicting the Terracotta Army is placed in the Quad. That could make a good blip!

Today I moved into Craigwell Cottage for the weekend as I am working on a book...
