hope on my doorstep

I drove by this fella singing and playing the guitar in front of Barnes and Noble today. I thought he was looking for money, and seeing as how I had just returned an item to Best Buy, I had a little cash in hand. I drove over there to listen to him for a minute and asked if I could take his picture if I tipped him. He told me to keep my money, and instead gave me a postcard announcing the release of his album at the Christ Church of the Valley up the road. He was a pop/gospel kinda singer and I didn't realize it. But the music, it was nice to hear at that particular point in my day. So thanks, singer dude. I appreciated it.
