Longshaw estate & some interesting roots...

Today we ignored the weather forecast for drizzle and took to the hills instead for a walk at Longshaw estate in the Peaks. It was great, just cold enough to enjoy the warmth generated by walking but not too cold for the baby who travelled in style on his dad's back. We stayed on the easy route but still saw some stunning views... And stunning roots, which curved round to make a natural shelter in the woods, cosy & warm & welcoming.
