Guillemot

A Black Guillemot in it's winter plumage I think, well according to the identification books I have but I'm happy to be corrected. It was lovely and sunny today but I was working in the shop as my colleague is away. So I arrived early with time to wander in the sunshine. My growing interest in local wild life has been as a direct result of blip, I've always loved being out in nature and had a real interest in flora but now that has really extend to fauna too, pottering around the coast in the early morning or in my lunch break looking for wildlife gives me a lot of pleasure!
