Swallowing hard

A trip into town on the hunt for a present took me to the Royal Mile where cheers and gasps led me to this crowd.

I'm used to street entertainment here during the Festival, but not in 3-4oC in January.

Many tourists and locals were gathered around and enjoyed an entertaining display from Steve of fire eating (most of which had happened before I arrived), sword swallowing, banging a nail into your nose ( do not try this at home!) and having a large man stand on a bed of nails on your chest.
