Any ideas?
As we hd many a task to complete today, Mr C and I split ranks. He took Munchkin 2 swimming to a flume pool, followed by a sneaky restaurant lunch, then spent a small fortune on printer cartridges for the numerous printers we have. I have been told that I have to calm down on printing my images! I took Munchkin 1 to the travel agents to attempt booking a holiday somewhere sunny and exciting for the full age range in our wee family, we had Sharm El Shark in mind but that wasn't to be for various reasons. So after an hour in the travel agents , we headed to the old fashioned sweetie shop to drown (or eat) our sorrows. I was beside myself with silly girl excitement when she said she DID have Iced Caramels (first shop I've found in a long time that stocks, and I have tried many) and my son was, indeed, like a kid in a sweet shop. After what felt like an age, we purchased and left. However, while in there I said to my son, this would be ideal for a Blip, but I didn't have the courage to ask. Maybe next time.
I then went and sat in, what can only be described as, the chair of pain. Men and women of a certain age out there will know that as you get that bit older, hair in men's cases appears from your nose and ears, while women their eye brows go a bit "Dennis Healy" and they have hair on their chins. So I visited a little lady, whose instrument of torture is a thread and she set to work on said eye brows and mini moustache. Oh my the pain, but it was worth it just to see Munchkin 1 laughing.
As today was grey, grey, and some more grey, I decided that I would have a go at MadDogGiraffes idea with bubbly liquid in a glass. However, while setting up makeshift mini studio, I broke my one of my light sources. With a mild expletive, and much scratching off head, questioning what to do... I came up with another idea...and here it is.
Again, not sure if it works, but I quite like it.
Enjoy your Saturday evening, my little glass of red beckons!
