Westward Ho! devastation

The high tides and huge winds coming in off the Atlantic have devastated Westward Ho!'s wonderful pebble ridge. The gorgeous sands are now covered in pebbles, the board over the pebbles from the car park has been damaged (part missing out of sight of the shot) and the ridge has been flattened. A very sad. But folks living in or near the Ho! will get together and start to clean the beach and throw the pebbles back onto the ridge - called pot walloping by the locals - as soon as the storms have passed.
