Iridescent

I've just finished reading Swimming to Antarctica by Lynne Cox. I'm amazed by the determination, dedication and self belief that some people have. She set records for crossing the English Channel and age 15 and 16 and has competed a host of other truly epic swims that nobody else had attempted. The end of the book is her one mile swim in Antarctica in freezing water, the first person do this. Doesn't that just put my loch swimming into perspective.
