Beinn a'Chochuill
Up with a heid fu' of whisky (never learn) but I did pack the bag last night so I have learnt one thing, and head off with fellow club members Graham, Jackie, Rebekah and Andrew to do Beinn a'Chochuill and Beinn Eunaich at the head of Loch Awe.
Rebekah and Andrew have never been out in the winter and Jackie not too much, so we do some ice axe practices and Graham and I assess the ground all the time with the understanding that at the least bit of risk we back off. As it is we manage to do the whole route and they have a blast. They get hit with everything over the day but it's a fabulous day out topped off with a couple of pints in Tyndrum, big haggis dinner at the cottage and a right good drink and gibber as well.
Excellent day.
