This duck lives in our kitchen - don't ask why.

Anyway, it clearly decided that it needed a little exercise, as I found it hanging from the empty fruit basket.

It's a dreich day and I haven't been out at all. Filled in my tax return and bought a tax disc for the car. Now I need to make a shopping list and tackle the supermarket. I'd rather stay indoors but the cupboard is bare.

I slipped and sprained my ankle last night, during a quick dash into M&S for Friday night dinner. The dog got some left over chicken tikka last night and it didn't agree with her. It's very strange, she can hardly move her back legs, and apparently that happened last time she had curry but I forgot. I can't find anything that says dogs can't have curry, apart from the potential explosive effect on the digestive system. She is on the mend now, but is currently curled up in bed looking sorry for herself, so no park walk today for either of us.
