Open Day

The Official Opening of the Embassy took place today. An afternoon affair whereby our Ambassador said his piece before President Lech Walesa did the honours. The Embassy staff were so excited by his presence, and snatched photos and autographs as he did the rounds aftewards, which given what he has helped to achieve for them and their country, is perfectly understandable. National Hero would probably cover it.
