a template is made

This morning Daniel from StoneTop came to our house to create a template for our granite counters, or benchtops I've heard them called. ;) I thought he was coming out to take measurements and would then go make the template at the shop. But no, Daniel actually brought some flexible material that reminded me of foam board with him to make our template on site. He used white strips of template material lying here on top of the lower cabinets to make the actual template they will use to cut the stone. He attached the strips with a glue gun! When he was done creating it, he made some score lines, folded this large pattern up and carried it out to his truck!!

He said it will be ready in about 2 weeks -amazing.
