Majestic

I just love clouds, especially when the sun is getting low and the clouds are moving in a stately procession along the horizon. I was out cycling again - fortunately with camera bag on my back - and I saw these clouds. I cycled down the lane, looking for interesting features on the horizon to silhouette and the telegraph pole and gateway did the trick nicely. I took about eleven pictures altogether, but this was the one with the best detail in the clouds.

When I got back, I did a bit of work on the pond - clearing the grass and moss which had grown over the rocks around the edge over the last couple of years and were dangling down into the water. It now looks about twice as big as it did!

Whilst clearing, I disturbed a tiny frog - no more than an inch and a half long, but it was as round as it was long - it looked like a balloon with tiny legs sticking out at the front and back. It looked pregnant to me, but it was so small. If we find a batch of frogspawn with about four eggs in it, we'll know where it came from.
