Golden Tegu Lizard

Not a bird this time, but a lizard –the Lagarto Overo (Tupinambis teguixin) –in English the Golden Tegu Lizard, or so I think: lizards are not really my thing. This was a good sized reptile, and had several infant lizards scurrying around. Photo shot in the Buenos Aires ecological reserve.
