I had no intention of blipping a rose today, but walking up the drive, (having collected the paper), I thought how beautiful "Gold Medal" is. It was chilly with a bit of very early dew. Gold Medal is usually a bright yellow, but she has faded in the Summer sun.

I have several in the bed, but the baby lilies have kind of taken over. You saw the B. L. in an earlier blip ! Early morning but looks as though it's going to be a good one. Warming up already.
