Chokes Away!

This is the debris from trying to prepare 2 globe artichokes, I won't be doing htis again in a hurry especially as the recipe called for 12! A disaster in the end as I didn't fully understand the instructions but I know for next time.

I also made something called Rice with a Crust which is a rice and chickpea dish that includes chorizo, morcilla, bacon and chicken and scrambled egg spread over the top to create the crust. Jen made some brandade, a creamny salt cod dip served as a starter with crispy croutons.
