Cameo

I simply can't get enough of history; the many wonders and secrets of the past, the passionate love stories, the dangerous betrayals, the vintage designs and those breathtaking royal palaces and castles. That doesn't necessarily explain this photo, but it does slightly explain why I am fond of this little cameo brooch. My great grandmother had one, my grandmother hand one and my mother has one - which now belongs to me. But this isn't the same one. This one is a London find - it caught my eye when I happened to be browsing around a few vintage city shops. I just had to take it home.
