Squinting

Today it so bright it made you squint and I love that. Needless to say, I took the opportunity of going for a walk to soak up the sunshine. There was real warmth out of the shade and I had to take my coat off. We are having a neighbour round for a meal tonight who is on his own, his wife having taken some last minute locum work in the north of Greenland. I can understand why she went alone and he chose to come south and avoid the perpetual night.
